The Bentley

Bentley cars are handcrafted in Crewe, England, and are known to be a high end luxury car.

Founded by Walter Owen Bentley, Bentley Motors, Ltd. was formed in England in 1919. Two years later, the first model debuted, the rapid “3-litre” Bentley. With a love for racing, Bentley’s first products were high-performance open cars that immediately established themselves as winners at Le Mans. To pay the bills, the London-based company fitted their powerful cars with very fancy coachwork bodies. However, in 1931, financial woes triggered the brand’s sale to Rolls-Royce. In the decades that followed, the Bentley brand slowly slid into anonymity with vehicles that were little more than rebadged Rolls-Royces.

In 1998 Volkswagen acquired Bentley and since that time Bentley has expanded its model range. Today’s models are true to Bentley’s traditional qualities, with all models benefiting from exquisitely finished cabins and remarkably muscular engines — including a turbocharged 12-cylinder engine that generates more than 600 horsepower.
